Pool Care Total Alkalinity Increaser
An economical way to raise & adjust the Total Alkalinity in
the water of your inground or
aboveground swimming pool.
Proper Total Alkalinity (TA) levels are almost more
important than your pH. Almost. If the pH of your pool is difficult to maintain
- sometimes called "pH bounce" - then the TA in your pool water is LOW.
Low TA will lead to the same problems as low pH: higher chlorine consumption,
equipment & surface corrosion.

good water balance here.
Higher TA will lead to cloudy water, early algae growth,
along with not being able to lower the pH.
Pool CareTotal Alkalinity Increaser is
great for raising Total Alkalinity. TA in vinyl liner pools should be in a range of 100 -
150
ppm. In concrete or plaster pools, the TA should be about
80 - 120 ppm.
Easy application. Just broadcast into the water.
Be sure to follow all label instructions for best results.
Completely soluble. No residue.
Here's a table to help you determine
how much to add. Never add TA increaser without testing the level first.
Use with ALL Chlorine, Salt/chlorine, bromine, Ionizers
(Nature2 or Pool Frog) or biguanide (Soft Swim or Baquacil) pool care systems.
