Important Information: There are many states (Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, California & Florida and several others) & municipalities that are mandating the use of TWO main drains in the installation of a new pool.  The drains must be installed 3 ft. apart (on edge) and plumbed in tandem on the same suction line.  In addition, a Vacuum Release System must also be installed (this may be a requirement with any new pool installation, regardless of the use of main drains or not).  The reason for these mandates is to reduce the risk of drowning and/or evisceration because of bodily suction entrapment.  These mandates may also apply to major pool repairs and / or liner replacements.  Please check with your local building official for specific local regulations.  For these reasons, we will now only sell main drains in sets of 2.
